BACKGROUND

Comfort Foam & Fibre opened in the Burnside Industrial Park, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on December 1, 1993. The company was established to offer products to the upholstery industry in Atlantic Canada. Up until that point, products were available mainly from suppliers in Ontario, Quebec, and the United States. The cost of freight was high, especially for bulky items such as foam, cotton felt padding, and polyester fibre. A local wholesaler would be able to offer the convenience of filling orders quickly and more cost effectively.

Comfort Foam & Fibre offers a central location for companies in Atlantic Canada to purchase a wide range of foam products, polyester fibre, upholstery supplies, upholstery fabrics, and industrial sewing supplies.
